Who are we?




Mission statement


Campus West exists to provide audiences from the Borough of Welwyn Hatfield, Hertfordshire and beyond with access to an
            affordable, challenging and fun programme of events and activities. We will particularly strive to ensure an exciting range of
            events and activities are available to families using theatre, film, entertainment and roller skating to bring adults and children
            together. In doing so our mission will strengthen the community we serve through building relationships and stimulating
            imaginations and opportunities

Aims and objectives

Campus West Hawthorne Theatre is central to the creative life Welwyn Hatfield and Hertfordshire. In its two performance spaces
            in Welwyn Garden City, it presents an eclectic mix of new plays and classics from the UK and world along with a challenging film
            programme, with at least 4 to 5 different events per week, and through foyer music, exhibitions, open air theatre– it recognises
            that theatre or film doesn’t begin and end with the rise and fall of the curtain.


Aims


The Hawthorne Theatre endeavours to maintain and re-energise the great traditions of the British stage and international film to
            expand the horizons of audiences and artists alike. It aspires to reflect in its repertoire and film the diversity of the region’s
            culture.


Objectives



Campus West through Green Square productions actively support long established not for profit Arts Groups


Green Square production is a way for Campus West to support excellence in Art locally by providing by providing expertise,

facilities and assistance to artist and companies who want to progress and grow.
