• I took on a job as an usherette and cloakroom assistant at Campus West and West One. Working the nightclub cloakroom was interesting to watch people arriving separately or in couples, then later leaving as new couples or newly separated, all the while listening to just the bass part of the current charts - S-Express in particular - as the cloakroom was located directly under one bass bin speaker.
