Live Theatre and Music


The Hawthorne Theatre, Studio and Open Air Theatre offer a diverse range of live shows. We have professional groups that present many productions throughout the year and a host of many amateur groups from our community Theatre stable.

Come the season, and courtesy of the Green Square Productions is a potpourri of  live theatre ideal for family in the open air.

And each year we have the big live concerts and festivals -The Welwyn Garden City Chamber Music Concerts, The Herts Jazz and the Welwyn Drama Festivals.
